Big Horse Carriage Company now operate in place of Palm Springs Carriages, established in 1988 with just a single horse and carriage.  We presently offers the same services within the city of Palm Springs, and have expanded services throughout the Coachella Valley.

Big Horse Carriage Company runs multiple carriages and wonderful draft horses and are available for special events.

Within Palm Springs, we run year round, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, weather permitting.  Leaving Palm Canyon Drive in front of the Historic Village Green.  Monday and Tuesday we are available with a minimum one-hour reservation.  We have varying lengths of lively tours available.   We can provide you a wonderful tour of the Palm Canyon Strip and the Historic Tennis Club District.  Our courteous and knowledgeable drivers offer as an option, either a narrated historical tour or a quiet relaxing ride through the beautiful historic buildings of Palm Springs that have been the playground of the Hollywood's elite since the 1920's.

Reservations are not required for these tours.

On Thursday evenings, come down to Palm Springs VillageFest on Palm Canyon Drive between Baristo and Amado and meet our rescue horses. For a small donation, you can feed them a carrot!, pet them, and of-course, asking questions about our horses is always free.

In the cooler months from October 1 through May 1, we offer, in addition to our regular evening tours, longer tours of 2 to 3 hours, including the Historic Las Palmas area, known as the Beverly Hills of Palm Springs.  These tours take you on a leisurely carriage ride viewing the homes of many past and present celebrities.  These additional tours are by reservation only and will only run during the daytime hours.

We also offer customized packages for Weddings, Quinceañera, Anniversaries, Birthdays, Parades, and more.  You may also reserve your special event both in and out of Palm Springs.
